ROI of Live Events for your Business

I was recently discussing with colleagues a client's request to understand ROI for hosting live events, meetings and experiences for their company. This is something that has come up many times over my career as it is often hard to quantify given it is not tangible.

What I do know, is it is not immediate. It takes time, investment in the process and one single internal event will not show ROI in a traditional way.

Here are the things I stand by when asked this question. Do any other professionals have things to share based on their experience?

Talent Aquisition, retention & reduction in attrition

Morale Appreciated, happy employees have increased productivity, creativity & team work.

Brand Caring for employees is about authenticity. Clients value working with those whom reflect their values internally and externally.

Marketing There is no better marketing for your company than your own employees' experience shared publicly

Bottom Line Employees are often looking for more from their career than a standard compensation package. Opportunities to celebrate wins, connect through shared interests and work with others towards non work related goals create connectivity.

Energy We receive what we put out. We have all had the feeling of being energized from a dynamic speaker, experience or conversation. Creating the environment for this to happen re-ignites passions and encourages forward movement.
